Chameleons are least bothered about the background my friend. And they don't care much about hiding either. It's amazing how many people believe this.

A chameleon's skin has a number of layers of chromatophores(specialised cells) each with different coloured pigments. They can alter the balance between these layers, causing them to absorb certain colours and reflect certain colours of light. And they do this depending on their emotional state. For example, when they are victorious in a fight. Or when they are scared.
And yes, when they are horny. Which is, whenever a member of the opposite sex comes into view. And by view I mean VIEW. None of their eyes depend on the other for movement. They move completely independently.
They might be looking at you with their right eye and lusting at your girlfriend with their left wondering what she sees in you.
By the way, they are deaf as rocks.

The Great Wall of China can be seen, but from space, but sometimes space is confused with the moon. Space starts about 60 miles from the Earth's surface, and at that altitude, many other things like railways, ships and motorways are also visible. But the moon is about 250,000 miles away.

It isn't Graham Bell.

It was Antonio Meucci.

Meucci invented a working model of a device he called Teletrofono in 1860 and filed a patent in 1871; Five years before Bell's telephone patent.

Due to his inability to speak english, and being the erratic kind of person that he was, he failed failed to renew his patent for 10$ in 1874. When Bell came with his model in 1876, Meucci sued, and eventually died in 1889 while the court case was still under way. As a result, Bell got the credit for the invention.
It is worth noting that Bell worked in the same lab as Meucci and the models that Meucci created had mysteriously disappeared.

Invented in the late 1960's in Glasgow, chicken tikka masala(CTM) continues to be Britain's most popular dish.
It is a traditional Bangaldeshi dish in which marinated chicken pieces used to be cooked in a clay oven; a style that originated in the Middle East.
Masala is a Hindi word meaning mixture of spices. Traditionally CTM contains ginger, garlic, tomatoes, butter and cream spiced with cardamom, cloves, cumin, nutmeg, paprika, red chilli powder, fenugreek and turmeric.
The typical bright yellow colour is courtesy of the turmeric.

We already know the five senses of sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch. There are four more.

• Thermoception- Sense of heat on the skin
• Equilibrioception- Sense of balance; Comes from the displacement of fluid in the cavities of our inner ear.
• Nociception- Sense of pain, from joints, skin and body organs. Amazingly, it does not inclue the brain as brain doesn't have pain receptors. None. Headaches don't come from the brain. Doesn't matter if you feel it does. I am not here to caress your feelings.
• Proprioception- Or Awareness of the body. Meaning, having a sense of where which part of our body is without having to look at it.

Neurologists argue about hunger, thirst, sense of depth and a few more to be included in the list. That hasn't happened as of yet.
